The Brief

What The Timeless Practice Needs

Digital Authority
A world-class online presence that puts The Timeless Practice alongside Nigeria's leading firms.
Structured Scalability
A clean, expandable site built to handle growth without cluttering navigation or requiring constant rebuilds.
Business Development
Lead capture forms and publication-linked attorney profiles that actively create opportunities.
Content-Ready Framework
Structure built first, content dropped in second. Clear brief means less back-and-forth and a faster delivery.
Competitive Analysis

Benchmarking Nigeria's Top Law Firms

Five firms studied. Here is what separates the ones that work from the ones that don't.
Templars
Primary Benchmark
The gold standard for Nigerian law firm websites. Great use of color, typography, and subtle animation. Their Sectors page is particularly impressive: clean, expandable, and built to scale without overloading the menu.
Scalable sectors navigation
Subtle page transitions
Strong About and People pages
Aluko & Oyebode
Reference
Clean and professional, with a page structure very similar to the others. Solid stat displays for firm credibility and a consistent, no-fuss navigation that works well at scale.
Impact statistics display
Clean page structure
Scalable people directory
Banwo & Ighodalo
Reference
A standard professional law firm site. Follows the same structural blueprint as the others. Does not have the visual polish of Templars or Olaniwun Ajayi, but the bones are there.
Standard firm structure
Awards and recognition display
Odoma & Co
Avoid
Outdated design, dull colors, aging structure. This is the baseline most Nigerian legal websites are stuck at. This is exactly what The Timeless Practice needs to leave behind.
Outdated visual language
Dull color palette

What We Learned

Six Insights That Shape the Design

Distilled from five firms. A clear picture of what separates elite from average.
1
Structure

Sectors, Not Menus

Top firms let sectors expand in place. No layered sub-menus. One clean page with expandable rows that scales as the firm grows.

2
Photography

Images Lead Every Page

Full-bleed photography on page headers signals confidence. Every internal page gets its own visual identity.

3
People

Lawyers Are the Brand

Attorney profiles are not afterthoughts. They show practice focus, sectors covered, and everything the lawyer has published.

4
Thought Leadership

Publications Build Authority

Articles and publications are linked directly to the attorney who wrote them. That loop builds credibility on both ends.

5
Typography

Type Is the Primary Visual

The best firms use serif-led type systems. Bold, editorial typesetting communicates prestige before a single word is read.

6
Business Dev

Every Page Should Convert

Contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, and social handles are woven throughout. Not tacked on at the end as an afterthought.

Prepared for: The Timeless Practice
April 2026
Scope of Work
Work delivered is limited to what is described in this proposal. Any additions or changes to the agreed scope will be discussed, documented, and quoted separately before work begins.
Payment Terms
A deposit of 50% (₦200,000 NGN) is due before the project commences. The remaining 50% (₦200,000 NGN) is due upon final delivery and before the site is transferred to the client's hosting environment.
Commencement
The 21-day project timeline begins from the date the deposit is received and the kick-off meeting has taken place. Delays in payment or content delivery will extend the timeline accordingly.
Revisions
Three rounds of revisions are included within the agreed scope. A revision round covers reasonable amends to existing design and copy. Requests to substantially change the direction, structure, or features of the site are treated as scope changes.
Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to supply all required content including copy, attorney bios, and brand assets within an agreed timeline. Delays in content supply are the primary cause of project overruns and will shift the delivery date.
Intellectual Property
Full ownership of the completed website transfers to the client upon receipt of final payment. Scalebeyond Digital retains the right to display the project in its portfolio and case studies unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
Third-Party Costs
Domain registration, hosting, premium plugins(if needed), and any third-party integrations are not included in the quoted fee unless explicitly stated. The client is responsible for these costs directly.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to treat all shared materials, business information, and communications as confidential and not to disclose them to third parties without written consent, for the duration of the project and thereafter.
Cancellation
If the client cancels after work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable. If Scalebeyond Digital cancels the project, the deposit will be returned in full. Cancellation must be made in writing by either party.
Post-Launch Support
A 7-day support window is included after launch to address any bugs or technical issues arising directly from the build. General content updates, new features, or ongoing maintenance after this period are billed separately.
Limitation of Liability
Scalebeyond Digital is not liable for losses arising from third-party service outages, hosting failures, or client-side errors after handover. Our liability is limited to the value of the fees paid under this agreement.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from this project will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal legal process is pursued.
